Repository of clinical applications
OpenClinical aims to develop repositories of enactable knowledge content which can be used or adapted to deliver point of care services in a range of medical specialties. Initial applications, in domains such as cancer and cardiology, have been developed for OpenClinical.net and can be run on this site. Note that all these prototypes are shown here for demonstration only and must not be used for any clinical purpose.
We aim to a build a community of authors and provide services to support contributors interested in using guideline-modelling methods and technologies, and in developing and uploading their own applications into either OpenClinical.net private or public repositories.
In this early, experimental phase of OpenClinical.net, we aim to concentrate on the development of Open Source knowledge applications and collaboration will be limited to open research projects and non-profit activities.
Each application uploaded into a repository must be accompanied by completion of an information template which provides full background details (including guideline objectives, target setting, target users, sources used).
