In 2003 a systems group at the Johnson Space Centre in Houston Texas were carrying out an evaluation of the use of clinical decision support and workflow management for use in medical emergencies and other situations on the space shuttle and International Space Station.
The Tallis toolset was used as the basis for a training and evaluation course, and a sample guideline from the Medical Checklist of the Mission Operations Directorate Operations Division was used an illustrative example (full version of current checklist is available here).
